Introducing NielsenIQ University

Have you ever walked down an aisle in your local grocery store and wondered why your favorite food product moved? When you’re in a store, what catches your eye and motivates you to buy a certain product? NielsenIQ University is a data analytics training program that allows students to explore just that by analyzing the latest consumer trends for our Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer and retail clients. Participants work on real client marketing challenges using syndicated data. Participants also receive a stipend (exclusions apply), mentoring, professional development and direct access to job interviews, internships or full-time career opportunities.

What students like about NielsenIQ

“I enjoy the culture of NIQ the most.

It is such an open door environment where you can reach out to anyone for help or informally network. A lot of friendly and down-to-earth people make logging in on Monday through Friday that much easier.”

Benito Gabriel, Summer 2021 Intern, Rutgers University

“The facility to work on my own terms,

the trust I have with my manager and teammates, and the access to various training.”

Ariana Fernandez, Summer 2021 Intern, Rutgers University-New Brunswick

“I really like the people here.

I’m viewed as a friend instead of a coworker, meaning the people are very caring, open, honest, and hard workers. Everyone’s very accessible and always making sure I am doing well (both in and out of work), which is very valuable to me.”

Guillermo Villa, Summer 2021 Intern, Xavier University
